An afternoon scooter ride in search of some snaps takes me to Wanlockhead, Scotland's highest village and scene of lead and gold mining in the 17 and 1800's. Today is more about visitors coming to see the place. The Southern Upland Way passes through the village and it is a great gateway to the Lowther Hills.
Trusty steed parked up at the Visitor Centre. This run took me to over 1000 scootering miles for the year. Not bad since we only got back on the road in May.
